NYAPRS and the NYS Office of Mental Health, in collaboration with our partners at the Center for Practice Innovations and the Coalition for Behavioral Health, are very pleased to present you with this another informative, inspiring and timely program this year for PROS and HCBS providers that feature a strong focus on services for both adults and youth that promote:

  • Healthcare integration and community inclusion

  • the social determinants of health including employment and education

  • strategies to provide PROS services in community settings

  • guidance on successful data collection and billing practices

and much more.

The Academy will be held November 14-15, 2019 at the Gideon Putnam in Saratoga Springs, NY. Entitled Pathways to Recovery: Multiple Roads to Well-Being,  our featured speakers include:

  • Nationally acclaimed filmmaker, motivational speaker, and peace activist Ken Nwadike, Jr

  • Dr. Mark Salzer, Director of the Temple University Collaborative on Community Inclusion of Individuals with Psychiatric Disabilities,

  • Lenora Reid-Rose, Director, Cultural Competence and Health Literacy, Coordinated Care Services Inc.

  • Robert Myers, Senior Deputy Commissioner; Liam McNabb, Director of Rehabilitation Services, Amanda Saake, Special Assistant to the Commissioner and Susan Friedlander, Director of Community Integration and Wellness, NYC Field Office, NYS Office of Mental Health

  • Denard Cummings, Director, Bureau of Social Determinants, NYS Department of Health

  • Steve Miccio, Executive Director, People USA
