NYAPRS Note: Over the past twenty years, Dr. Margaret (Peggy) Swarbrick has been among our most internationally recognized pioneers in the development and implementation of peer driven wellness and recovery approaches. Peggy has published on these topics in peer reviewed journal, academic textbooks and federal policy and practice documents.
Perhaps her most widely recognized contributions are her creation of the 8 Dimensions of Wellness that has formed the basis of our field’s and community’s efforts in this area (https://tinyurl.com/y6weq557) and as the developer of the Peer Wellness Coaching and supervision models.
Peggy currently serves as Wellness Adjunct Associate Professor and Director of Practice Innovation and Wellness at University Behavioral Health Care at Piscataway (Rutgers Health) and as coordinator of Community Support Programs of New Jersey’s Wellness Institute.
Don’t miss Peggy’s new presentation entitled “Wellness Self Care: A Habit for Personal and Professional Practice” at NYAPRS’ April 21-22 Annual Albany Executive Seminar, “2020 Vision: Lead, Partner, Perform and Transform”!
