May 5 NYAPRS Virtual Seminar Finale! Pat Deegan, Lisa Dixon, Jim Gavin, Open Minds’ Drew DiGiovanni, Yves Ades!

May 1, 2020 by The Alliance for Rights and Recovery

NYAPRS Note: NYAPRS’ plan to transform our face to face Executive Seminar program into 3 successive free half day programs has been a smash success!

  • Our April 21 presentations on Leadership in Times of Chaos, Building A Better Workforce and Wellness Self Care: A Habit for Personal and Professional Practice by some of state’s and nation’s most prominent leaders drew high marks from the 425 attendees. See https://www.nyaprs.org/s/2020-Final-Virtual-Seminar-Program-Day-1-9re5.pdf for the PPTs and link to the recorded session.

  • And yesterday’s April 28 presentations on New York’s Mental Health Response to COVID-19, Peer Crisis Interventions and Building a Successful Value Proposition received a terrific response by upwards of 500 attendees. Go to https://tinyurl.com/ya3vvspx for those presentations and recordings.

  • Note corrected times: Don’t miss the 3rd and final program this Tuesday morning on May 5 that will feature

    • a stirring presentation by international recovery pioneer Dr. Patricia Deegan that will culminate in discussion with expert collaborators on how recovery, psychiatric and managed care models can work collaboratively to transform both systems and lives,

    • a plenary presentation by Open Minds’ expert Drew DiGiovanni on now to Take Charge of Your Organization Culture! and a ‘on the ground’ follow up session on Assessing and Changing Your Organization Culture with Drew and Edye Schwartz of Edye Schwartz Consulting concluding  with

    • a must see presentation on Building a Trauma-Responsive Organization led by Yves Ades of Ades Integrated Health Strategies
