Come See/Win Raffle: National Artists’ Exhibitions, Stand Up Comics, Open Mic Sessions at Next Week’s NYAPRS Virtual Conference: Register Today!

September 14, 2021 by The Alliance for Rights and Recovery

NYAPRS Note: NYAPRS Note:  NYAPRS is pleased to announce a special raffle just for those that attend our evening program: at the end of the evening, two names will drawn to win a $100 Gift Card of your choice!  Join us for the evening events and your chance to win!

We’re very excited to announce that this year’s NYAPRS Conference will feature a 3-part Art Exhibition and presentations featuring prominent artists from our national community and organized by Deb Trueheart and Gayle Bluebird (https://storiesfromtheroad.typepad.com/blog/2014/01/gayle-bluebird-taking-arts-seriously-free-webinar-wed-feb19th-1pm-est-.html), who launched the first ever Altered States of the Arts in 1985 and authored ‘Reaching Across with the Arts’ shortly thereafter.

And we’re so pleased to be able to welcome back Stand Up for Mental Health founder David Granirer (https://standupformentalhealth.com/) and this year’s newly trained class of comics including Emily Childress, Dan Frey, Ann Kasper, Coleen Sheehan and Wiletta Williams!

Finally, national trauma recovery leader Michael Skinner (https://www.survivingspirit.com/) will once again be helping to facilitating Open Mic sessions that highlight the work of  new or experienced musical performers and poets. Sign up for Open Mic by emailing Eileen Crosby Negron at eileenc@nyaprs.org. See all of their photos below.

See the attached program and register today at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/united-in-hope-together-for-justice-and-wellness-for-all-tickets-163080673685
