Dear NYC Peer Workforce Community,
NYC Health + Hospitals is excited to announce that the H+H Peer Academy application is live! The H+H Peer Academy is a no-cost training and internship program designed to prepare individuals for peer support work on multidisciplinary teams in a large hospital system. Trainees will be eligible to receive both the NY Certified Peer Specialist (NYCPS) and Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) certifications. Graduates will be encouraged to apply to positions at NYC H+H.

Ideal candidates: Individuals with lived experience of mental health and/or substance use challenges who are in long-term recovery
