I’m writing to share that the NYC Peer Corps Program is still accepting applications! Anyone interested is encouraged to apply ASAP!
The NYC Peer Corps Program is currently in the process of recruiting and hiring its next cohort (anticipated service dates 1/24/22- 12/5/2022). DOHMH with the support of AmeriCorps developed the Peer Corps initiative in response to the rising number of overdose deaths. The COVID-19 pandemic has only worsened overdose in the city. Peer Corps recruits and mobilizes community members with lived experience in substance use and recovery, bringing life-saving services to marginalized populations throughout NYC.
