You’ll get to hear from Westchester DCMH Commissioner Michael Orth and the New York State Office of Mental Health’s Chief Advocacy Officer, Amanda Saake, about initiatives happening in the county and statewide as well as have a chance to provide feedback to county officials. There are still spaces available to attend the Westchester County Department of Community Mental Commissioner’s Forum, this Wednesday, May 17, at 1 PM at The White Plains Public Library (see flyer below and attached). The Commissioner’s Forum is focused on providing services participants/peers information about recent developments in our system of services and supports, and about Departmental planning priorities. Attendees will also have ample opportunity at the Forum to offer feedback and voice concerns directly to our County and State mental health leadership. Everyone is welcome at this public event – service providers, family members/friends and other members of the community who wish to attend are also asked to please encourage and facilitate service participant/peer participation.
