The Managed Care Technical Assistance Center (MCTAC) and Peer Support Services Technical Assistance Center (PeerTAC) are pleased to announce upcoming in-person, regional gatherings for New York State Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Services (MHOTRS) Programs. PeerTAC is looking for Peer Organization partnership and collaboration on multiple upcoming opportunities and wanted to start by inviting organizations to attend one or more of the upcoming regional gatherings where you can learn more network with others who are involved in the growth of peer support services in mental health settings.
The primary audience for these meetings is the leadership and operational staff at MHOTRS clinics across the state. OMH is in the midst of releasing new guidance related to MHOTRS operations and PeerTAC is partnering with OMH and MCTAC who will be offering information on some of the more technical aspects of the changes that are being announced. They will be providing education and some guidance for MHOTRS on the inclusion of peer support services in their clinical settings.
PeerTAC hopes to facilitate connections between the peer-run organizations and the clinics in each region. They have upcoming projects planned to tap into and work to develop contracts for your expertise in training and supervision of peer specialists.
Each event will be from 9:00 – 3:30. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
