The Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery is partnering with Temple University on a research study that is examining the effectiveness of an intervention they have developed to support people in becoming more involved in activities that are meaningful to them.
REACH is a peer-delivered, online, group intervention aimed at supporting people with significant mental health issues to engage in more meaningful activities in their daily lives.
The study involves weekly group telehealth meetings facilitated by peer support specialists held on Mondays across a period of 10-12 weeks starting in September. The focus of these meetings is to discuss small, quick changes that individuals in the group can make to significantly increase their community participation (which encompasses leisure, recreation, employment, education, physical activity, relationships, and more).
If you are interested in participating in the study, please email tucollab@temple.edu.
