  Challenging, Sustaining, and Evolving: An Anthology on Youth Mental Health Advocacy (and Hope) Young people have mobilized, organized, and fought to usher in a new era of mental health advocacy, and they are finally being invited to the table. Now what? This year’s Young Leaders Council annual report takes a hard look at how the younger generation is trying to change the trajectory of the mental health crisis. They share their experiences and what is and is not working in established systems. These members of the 2022-2023 cohort authored the report: Mariama Bah, Jose Caballero, Abdullah Elahi, Savannah Frye, Jillian King, Maya Nitoor, Rei Scott, Faria Tavacoli, and Crystal Widado. From an immigrant leaving a dictatorship to sexual assault and trauma survivors, each author brings a unique perspective to this report.
