FAQs
- What happens if an RFP/RFA is issued prior to December 29, 2023?
If an RFP / RFA is issued prior to December 29, 2023, the RFP/RFA process will be completed in Grants Gateway, but contracts will be issued in SFS.
- What happens if an RFP/RFA is issued after December 29, 2023?
After December 29, all RFP/RFAs will be released and have applications submitted in SFS.
- How will applications be affected by the blackout dates?
From December 29 and January 10, providers will be able to work on existing applications in Grants Gateway. During the blackout period from January 10 to 16, no one will be able to access Grants Gateway, including any applications in-progress. On January 16, providers will be able to return to Grants Gateway to complete and submit applications for any RFP released in Grants Gateway prior to December 29, 2023.
Prequalification / Vault Compliance
As of November 15, 2023, some Providers’ vaults in Grants Gateway became non-compliant. An email was sent out to Providers alerting them and encouraging them to review their vault status. The affected Providers have until December 15, 2023, to bring their vaults back into compliance. Any Providers whose vault is not listed as “Document Vault Prequalified,” by December 15, 2023, will not be able to become pre-qualified until January 16. Providers who are not prequalified will need to create their entire vault from scratch in SFS beginning January 16, 2024.
Between December 15, 2023, and January 10, 2024, a provider who is not pre-qualified may work on applications in the Gateway but should not submit any applications because their application will be deemed ineligible due their vault being out of compliance.
