The NYS Legislature and Governor are wrapping up their negotiations for this year’s final budget, but no decision has been finalized for Daniel’s Law First Responder Pilots funding. We have very little time to push for this needed investment to have Peers and EMTs respond to crisis calls when police are not required.
Daniel’s brother, Joe Prude, has worked with the Daniel’s Law Coalition and our legislative champions Senator Samra Brouk and Assemblymember Harry Bronson to create the following release urging the legislature and governor to include funding for pilots in this year’s budget.
