Don’t Miss this Week’s 15th Annual Recovery & Rehabilitation Academy: Registration Still Open!

November 12, 2024 by The Alliance for Rights and Recovery

Alliance Alert: There’s still time to register! We are 2 days away from the 15th Annual Recovery & Rehabilitation Academy to be held this Thursday and Friday, November 14-15, 2024! Presented by The Alliance for Rights and Recovery along with our training partners from The Center for Practice Innovation and InUnity Alliance, this year’s program, Narratives of Hope: The Power of Personal Stories in Recovery, offers numerous sessions on important topics such as developing a strong recovery-focused team and culture, strategies for improved documentation, accessing community-based services and an examination of current policy issues. Three examples of these sessions are:

  • The Role of Peers in Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services explores the critical role peer support can provide in your program.  Learn how peer specialists can foster hope, empowerment, and personal growth within your organization’s recovery and rehabilitation programs.
  • Managing and Supporting Community-Based Services focuses on how an organization can maximize the use of natural supports in their community to support recovery.
  • Policy And Advocacy Essentials: A Guide For Service Providers recognizes that policy advocacy is critical to ensuring people who use mental health services maintain their self-determination and improving the quality of mental health services. It will discuss the need for advocacy from providers as a way to better support the people they serve, improve their quality of services, and create new programs to address gaps they see in their communities.

The Academy offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain practical insights, connect with peers, and earn continuing education credits. Learn critical information on how to develop and support a recovery journey with individuals and enhance the culture of your organization.
