Don’t Miss Next Wednesday’s Regional Advisory Committee Meeting; November 20, 12:30pm – 4:30pm
The Regional Advisory Committee is a public meeting for people of all ages and families who receive or have received mental health services, as well as peers, advocates, and the community. The RAC is held so people can give advice to OMH. Each RAC includes updates from community partners and OMH. Each RAC also includes a presentation and breakout groups for attendees to provide their feedback.
During November’s RAC, we will be joined by Kate Provencher from the OMH Office of Prevention and Health Initiatives. Kate will be sharing information and asking for feedback on the Be Well Public Awareness Campaign, launching this month to raise awareness on the importance of mental health, wellness, and resilience. She will also be sharing information and asking for feedback on Breath-Body-Mind™ Practice Sessions, which are offered to help people learn strategies for managing stress and supporting wellness. If you would like to learn more about these sessions and come with questions or feedback, you can find information in the attached flyers.
