In response to an aging population that is quickly expanding within the criminal justice system, evidence-based practices are needed to address the specific behavioral health needs of older adults, including cognitive decline, mental health disorders, end-of-life needs, and complications stemming from other physical health problems.
This webinar will explore the current need for improved behavioral health strategies for aging adults and critical partnerships between correctional facilities and state- or community-based agencies. Emerging best practices for addressing the behavioral health needs for aging populations in the criminal justice system will also be presented.
