The Temple University Collaborative on Community Inclusion is hosting a new series of conversations intended to support the development of advocacy skills and build connections among those engaged in promoting community inclusion of individuals with mental health issues. The conversations will take place approximately three times a year and are facilitated by renowned mental health advocates BeaJae North, Joseph Rogers, and Kelechi Ubozoh.
The first Community Inclusion Advocacy Chat is entitled “Inclusion in Action: Building a network of Advocates to Promote Community Participation” and will occur on December 12th from 1-2 PM ET/ 10-11 AM PT. Joseph, Kelechi, and BeaJae will share their own stories of their advocacy journeys and will give participants the opportunity to discuss why they are attending, what advocacy means to them, and more. Discussion is highly encouraged but we welcome you to come as you are and to participate how you would like.
