The Alliance for Rights and Recovery (formerly NYAPRS) is excited to have hundreds join us tomorrow (TUESDAY) for our Legislative Day! We are very pleased to share our full Legislative Day book, which we will be using as we advocate for more funding for our agencies and staff, needed expansions in community-based services, and alternatives to involuntary treatment in Albany tomorrow. We have included the full book in the email, which includes the day’s agenda as well. See the attachment to print the full book.
For those who were unable to attend one of our regional forums, the Alliance held an online advocacy training session to prepare you all for our 28th Annual Legislative Day Tomorrow! If you missed it, you can view the video recording to hear more about this year’s issues, learn and practice advocacy skills, and discover how to get the most out of your meetings with legislators!
