We’re excited to share Mental Health Empowerment Project’s (MHEP) lineup of free, virtual peer-led trainings this August, designed to deepen our collective understanding of trust, language, conflict resolution, and advocacy in the peer support movement.
These sessions are grounded in lived experience and built to strengthen our skills as peers, advocates, and allies. Whether you’re new to peer support or have been in the work for years, there’s something in this lineup for you.
Highlights include:
- Soul Allies: Exploring the Meaning of Trust (Aug 8, 10AM–12PM) with Bryant Pugh
- Language Matters (Parts 1 & 2) (Aug 12 & 26, 10AM–12PM) with Jen Hastings
- Conflict Is Not a Crisis: Peer-to-Peer Conflict Resolution (Aug 14, 1PM–3PM) with Shamona Kirkland
- Overview of Advocacy (Aug 28, 1PM–3PM) with Alanna Sears-Mount
