Alliance Alert: Join the Office of the Chief Disability Officer and partners across New York State for the 2025 DREAM (Disability Rights Employment Awareness Month) Symposium, a two-day celebration of disability inclusion, empowerment, and employment innovation — October 28–29 in Albany, NY.
This year’s symposium features:
- Breakout sessions on Employment First, ADA rights, transition planning, Deaf and Hard of Hearing initiatives, and Individual Placement and Support.
- A job and resource fair with over 50 inclusive employers and statewide service providers.
- An assistive technology fair featuring the latest accessibility tools and demonstrations.
- Keynote speaker: Acclaimed disability advocate and comedian Pamela Rae Schuller, sharing “The Power of ‘Yes, And’: Advocacy Through Storytelling and Improv.”
The event is free, open to the public, and fully accessible. ASL and CART will be provided, and additional accommodations can be requested during registration.
