On behalf of the Coalition on Human Needs, we invite you to join the Food Research & Action Center (FRAC), our national partners, and advocates from across the country for a planning call on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 1 pm ET focused on SNAP advocacy. Together, we will strategize on the actions needed throughout January to mitigate the harmful impacts of proposed SNAP benefit reductions and administrative cost shifts to states in the upcoming January 30 appropriations legislation.
We will also provide resources and support for a Thursday, Jan. 15, national #StopThatSNAPShift Day of Action, when advocates will urge Members of Congress to include a provision in the Jan. 30 legislation to mitigate the SNAP cost shifts to states.
