Inspired by the internationally acclaimed Trieste, Italy model of community mental health, Hollywood 2.0 is reimagining the system by building an integrated neighborhood-based system rather than another stand-alone program. Through multidisciplinary street-based teams, supportive housing, peer services, employment supports, crisis services, clinical support, and a thriving clubhouse, the initiative brings support directly to people instead of expecting people in crisis to navigate fragmented systems on their own.
This keynote will explore how Hollywood 2.0 is organizing an entire community around the principles of People, Place, and Purpose, creating a system where recovery is built through relationships, housing, meaningful roles, and belonging. Presenters will discuss how mental health, housing, healthcare, businesses, government agencies, and community organizations are working together to reduce homelessness, improve engagement, and create alternatives to hospitalization and institutionalization.
