The Alliance Multicultural Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee (MEIBC) invites you to celebrate the cultures, traditions and experiences that make our Alliance community stronger at the 2026 Alliance 44th Annual Conference in Albany!
This year, we are excited to bring back the 25th Annual Multicultural Exhibition Center, 14th Annual Diversity Bash and 14th Annual Multicultural Fashion Show. Together, these events offer conference participants an opportunity to share their cultures, learn from one another, celebrate our similarities and differences, and strengthen inclusion and belonging across our movement.
We Need You for the Multicultural Fashion Show!
One of the highlights of the celebration will be our 14th Annual Multicultural Fashion Show on Wednesday, September 24 at 5:15 p.m. during the Diversity Bash.
We are looking for conference attendees to participate and model a cultural outfit! Represent your own cultural heritage, celebrate another culture that is meaningful to you, or represent your organization while helping us showcase the diversity of the Alliance community.
No modeling experience is needed. This is about celebrating culture, community and recovery together!

Please provide your name, email, phone number, the culture you plan to represent, and a brief description of your outfit by September 19. Bring your cultural outfit with you to the conference, or inquire about modeling an outfit from the Multicultural Exhibition Center.
And don’t miss the rest of the celebration! The Diversity Bash begins at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, with dancing and our Circle Outfit Showcase before the Fashion Show begins at 5:15 p.m.
Throughout Wednesday and Thursday, visit the Multicultural Exhibition Center to share cultural artifacts, memorabilia, music, art and other materials; participate in arts and crafts; and learn about the rich cultures and traditions represented throughout our Alliance family.
Individuals and organizations are invited to participate. Come share your culture, model recovery and help us make this year’s celebration one to remember!
