Understanding Loneliness & Social Isolation: Impacts on People and Society at Large in a Connected World 1 CE Hour
As understanding of the Social Determinants of Health and Mental Health builds, it becomes critical to focus our attention on how health and mental health is largely influenced by social factors. While having meaningful relationships is vital to human beings’ ability to thrive, emerging data is uncovering an epidemic of loneliness throughout society. As awareness around social isolation and loneliness increases, we are learning about the impacts on society at large as well as individuals with behavioral health issues. To address this issue and assist people on their recovery journey, we must begin examining the multitude of impacts of loneliness in order to help people develop meaningful connections that heal.

Winter Wellness Planning 1.25 CE hours
Winter brings changes in weather, light, and activities. In addition, some people experience challenges with isolation and mood, as well as complex feelings and experiences related to winter holidays. While each person’s combination of experiences, strengths, and challenges is unique, there is a lot we can do to anticipate, and address wellness needs and concerns. Due to the numerous challenges faced since early 2020 it seems more important than ever to plan for winter this year!
Planning for winter changes can reduce their effects, prevent negative health impacts, and enhance coping and resilience. This interactive webinar will provide an opportunity for participants to create their own winter wellness plan.
