June 22, 2022 by The Alliance for Rights and Recovery

NYAPRS Note: Exhausted. Overwhelmed. These are just two words describing some of the experience of today’s workforce. Some experts would say that if we don’t address workplace burnout, “the great resignation” may turn into “the great burnout”. It’s imperative that we address burnout and do our best to prevent and recover from it. We all want the best outcomes for the people we work with, be it someone who participates in services or our colleagues. Register today to learn more about workplace burnout and how we can address and recover from it. See below for details.

Workplace Burnout: How We Get There; How We Recover

The World Health Organization (WHO) has officially classified workplace burnout as an occupational phenomenon in its recent revision of the International Classification of Diseases. This webinar focuses on the causes of and reactions to workplace burnout and stress, for which healthcare workers are especially susceptible. The webinar further incorporates how to manage our mental health and recovery from workplace burnout, and will provide tips on how to exercise self-care to prevent it from occurring in the first place.

Date and Time: July 14, 2022, from 12:00-1:30 PM EST
